Full Moon(lit Garden)...
We simply just can't find words. Yesterday we played in the honour of King Matthias, for His Majesty's 567th birthday! The King's natal house was full last night, the Moon was also full and everything went really well, although this was our first gig since we've started the second album's recording. Next week we'll play with Flamborough Head. :) Be there!
Happy Birthday, Your Majesty! :)

For the 3rd time: Yesterdays plays with Flamborough Head!
On the 5th March we'll play with our dear dutch friends. We just love their wonderful harmonies and their melodies, listening to them is always a pleasure, so we strongly recommend this gig, where we'll have the chance to team up with them! :) Yesterdays will play a set of acoustic songs this time, so, after all that evening on the 5th March will be a colourful one! We'll soon be back with details, so be prepared :D

Purgatorio review on DPRP.NET :)
"Yet another favourite prog discovery and this time it's the Hungarian Yesterdays. You never no quite what to expect from this band, sometimes all acoustic and sometimes electric, sometimes male lead vocals and sometimes female. On this occasion it's the electric/female combination and although Feluton is not the bands strongest offering to date it has its moments especially the gloriously inventive guitar soloing that mirrors Steve Howe and Robert Fripp in equal measures." Ten years of Yesterdays..........
While wondering how to greet Happy New Year in this News section, suddenly I remembered that the first Yesterdays concert was... well... ten years ago, and it took place in Radio Cluj, exactly on the 30th March in 2000... Wow, this just means that the band is active for 10 years... this calls for a celebration :)
... and now many thoughts came to my mind, memories and feelings of all the hard periods, when we had to play on borrowed instruments in a cellar somewhere in the city... and we tried real hard...
Difficulties, work, failures, emotions, many, many gray weekdays, but some really bright moments too... we had them all.
Three years and three months have passed since the release of our first album: "Holdfénykert". What happened in these three years - you ask? I'm scared to answer the first time: "Holy shit, almost nothing has happened... 'cause where is that second Yesterdays disc yet?" But then I remember that in these three years we did a serious work, contributions to several Colossus/Musea projects.... So our "imaginary second album" would look like this:
1. Pauline Suite (20'00'')
2. Isteni színjáték (4'33'')
3. Lost Without a Trace (2'38'')
4. Colossus (7'33'')
4. Félúton (6'00'')
5. Thirtythree (4'00)
... three-quarters hours of Yesterdays music... but near that we were working really hard on our second album too... We've just recorded 10 exciting new songs... I think everybody is qurious about this new material :) Well, one thing is sure: we will release our second album in 2010, and we'll play the new material on several concerts :)!
We wish you all a Happy Yesterdaysish New Year (HYNY... noty H1N1!!!!) and we hope that we'll see You very soon... why not on a Yesterdays gig? :)

The Waiting...
We just can't believe it, 2009 is over... and what a year it was, full of work, passion, recordings, interesting projects... and we've just finished recording our second album... We are waiting, but we also feel that it was worth waiting and working all year long, we've made some really nice songs, we tried to do our best, the Music what we live these days in. Soon we'll start the mixing, but before that let us thank You all, dear Friends for all you patience, your kind e-mails, the fine reviews of our project-songs :). This was a fantastic year, but we hope that 2010 will bring You more Yesterdays music, the CD and... maybe the very first Yesterdays Live DVD!!! :)
Let us wish you a Merry little Chrismas, a shiny white one filled with joy, peace and good music! See you in 2010! :)

Long Live the King!
Another amazing project, another offer from our friend, Marco Bernard... we'll take our part in the upcoming Flower Kings tribute CD. Our song for the compilation will be "My Cosmic Lover", our long time favourite TFK tune, and we already have some interesting ideas to spice it up in a "yesterdaysish" taste :)). We'd like to pay our tribute especially to our friend, Jonas Reingold, who's bass line is so essential in this song.... As many of you know, we've played together with Jonas on our Inferno track 2 years ago, now it is our turn to thank him for this fantastic collaboration... and this tribute CD is the perfect way to do this! :) BIG HI to Jonas!!! :)

Flute and percussion
WOW, we had a fantastic weekend once again, at the Alias Studio in cluj Napoca, recording flutes with Kecskeméti Gábor and some exciting percussion with Kósa Dávid (former Yesterdays member). A wonderful time with so much fun in the studio with our sepcial guests... Gábor, Daci thanks so much for everything, we hope that we'll play together again very soon! :)

Mellow Records' Tribute to Marillion...
...another mind-blowing, exciting offer from our "Samurai of Prog", Marco Bernard. He wanted me to record some "Relayer" style guitars on a Marillion track, and also some "Yes"-like vocals... what a challenge... but I am crazy enough to do it for the fun... Fish-era song, progressive stuff so I'll start to record immediately in my home studio! Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
Some drum recordings in Budapest 1st September 2009

New album on the horizon!
Dear Friends, just a quick note to make this website really up-to-date: the drums, the bass lines, the acoustic guitars were recorded to our second album and now we are still in the studio recording the electric guitar parts. To be honest this work is really excited, we tried out some cool new things in the studio, and there was so much going on in the last 2 years... the album just keeps on growing, we have 13 fresh new songs, many fantastic musicians involved and some really good feelings about this second album thing... Next week we'll have a drummer-UFO recording 2 songs with us :) and in September Kósa Dávid (former Yesterdays member) will re-join us to record some really funky percussions :D ... and let's not forget the flute recordings (also in September) with Kecskeméti Gábor... just how lucky can we get :))
Take care and soon we'll show you some 'making of' photos.

After the XI. Rythm'n Blues Festival
It' hard searching for the right words to explain what we feel now that the Blues Festival gig is over. It was fantastic, the sound, the people, the friends, the weather... We played only 5 songs and it was over an hour...
The setilist on this night was:
1. Éjszaka a városban (from the upcoming new album)
2. Némafilm szvit (Silent Film Suite)
3. Zápor (Drencher)
4. Seven (an extended version :D)
5. Várj még (Just Wait)
...and we were 6 on the stage, helped by a genious on flute, giving us the best flute experience ever: Kecskeméti Gábor from Hungary. He will play all the flutes on the new album... we just couldn't imagine that playing the flute can be this fun, this professional and emotional... Gábor brought new passion with his playing, and just lifted up the songs into hights we couldn't imagine before... :)
Zsolt had some difficulties with one of his 6 synths on the stage, but he solved the problems instantly and everything went perfectly!
We have the show on an AUD bootleg, on a soundboard recording and a pro-shoot video film (with soundboard sound), so it is possible that soon we'll post some very high quality moments from the show. Until that please visit our Myspace photo album to see some really good photos :D
But let us thank to PANKKK, EMI, DALOK.HU (for the BIG help!!!), Szárnyas Sárkány and Gyuri bá' (for the invitation), Szabolcsi István for the SOUND and for the soundboard recordings :D, Réka, Eszter, Birta Péter (for the fantastic photos!!!), Tozsi for the minidisc bootleg (looking forward to hear it :D!!!).
From now on we'll concentrate to our recording work in the studio.
Talk to you soon, and thanks,
(L-R) Gábor, János, Hanna, Ákos, Zsolt and Zoltán

"With friends surrounded"
Gut geschafft, Proggies!

Tuonen Tytar II. is out!
Wow, two new Yesterdays tracks are out on the second edition of the finnish prog-tribute CD: Tuonen Tytar! Two Wigwam (FI) songs were covered on this album, "Lost Without a Trace" a full Yesterdays track featuring Zsolt, Timi, Ákos and Daci, "Colossus" is a finnish-italian-hungarian co-production where Ákos sings (lead and backing vocals), plays mellotrons, while Zsolt plays clavichords and a fantastic moog solo! Don't miss it!!! You can buy your copy here (at Musea Records). We'd like to thank Marco Bernard for this wonderful cooperation!

Purgatorio crosses finish line!
Next week we'll record our very first song with Hanna, our contribution to Musea's compilation: Dante's Purgatorio! I must say that it's such a blessing to work with Hanna, she helped me complete the lyrics, we wrote all the melody lines together, soon you'll hear the results... you know, this feels good, we don't have anything to worry about... we'll try to stay in this state of mind while we are working on the new songs...
We'll keep you posted!
Btw: the new Yesterdays line-up will play together in Cluj Napoca (RO) on the 23rd May with a little support act from Tabula Smaragdina (HU), my band from Hungary... it will be a true progrock event, so try to be there!!! Special guests with both bands, new songs and lots of surprises...
7th March 2009
Progarchives, new review!
"Holdfénykert is a strong first album for this Romanian band, which plays a modern interpretation of classic Symphonic Prog. Inspired strongly by 70's Genesis, Camel, Gentle Giant, and Yes... this band still manage to forge a unique sound of their own. "
"This is a good and solid album for a relatively new band on the block, from a region that has proved to spawn tremendously good bands throughout the years, I assume that Yesterdays will be a name to reckon in the next years."
Don't let the silence of this News section fool You :), beneath this "silence" the band is rehearsing VERY intensively. Our song for the next Musea/Colossus release (Purgatorio) is almost finished (finally, this week we'll record all the vocals and start the mixing!), and near that we are working hard on the new songs... this new Yesterdays album is still growing, we must control ourselves not to end up with a boring double CD :) (seriously: we won't let this happen!!!). After Hanna's Purgatorio sessions we'll show You a short "making of the Purgatorio track" video... until that keep on visiting the page for eventual news bits... and of course: buy both the Inferno and Spaghetti Epic III. CD-s, 'cause they are great (at www.musearecords.com)!!!

"Din nou acasa"... back home once again...
You know, while browsing the internet we occasionally found some new reviews about the Moonlit Garden album.. it is uplifting and it feels so very good to read all about other peoples oppinions about our music. It gives us faith in what we are doing... From all the reviews this new one is the closest to my heart... it was written in Romanian, here, at home... Although we gigged most of the time abroad, there are people who are interested in our music, who appreciate the way we play and compose our music... By reading this article, it really feels like a homecoming for me and it really moves me! All I can say is that we'll try to play more at home, to our friends! The article was written by Mihai Plamadeala and it can be found here! Multumim, köszönjük, thanks! :)

Silence is broken...
It's been a long silence since we wrote this song for the Spaghetti Epic III. CD... Suite Pauline is a 20 minutes long progrock suite in the spirit of the Seventies. This song is interesting in some ways... it was written in a strange way: Zsolt, Dave and Ákos exchanged the demo files, the ideas and the parts through the internet, so this vintage song was concieved in a high-tech virtual enviroment :) After finishing the structure Dave took a flight to Cluj Napoca to record the drums, Zsolt did his parts in Carei (Nagykároly), Zoltán, Misu and Ákos finished their recordings in Cluj (at Alias Studio). This was the first Yesterdays song that showed the new voice of Yesterdays. Although this "new voice" is one and a half year old now and the band's sound is different now and even more powerful, we love this "little" song... It has happen, it was an interesting journey, and maybe we'll play some parts from this suite live sometimes... You can order your copy now from Musea Records by clicking the picture!

Happy New YesterYear!
...and just how many good things can happen in 2009? First of all the amazing "Spaghetti Epic III." CD (from Musea) with our 20 minutes long epic called "Suite Pauline". Later "Tuonen Tytar 2" will be released (of course by Musea) with us appearing as guest musicians on "Colossus" (a Wigwam song) and as "remakers" of Wigwam's gem "Lost Without a Trace".
And if this is not enough for You... :).... the new Yesterdays record is in it's processing state, it keeps growing day-by-day :)... and it will be released this year!!!
...aaaaand if these things still aren't enough for You... we are planning the second edition of our MiniProg Festival here in our hometown this time, in Cluj Napoca (Romania) in April or May, featuring Flamborough Head (NL) and Tabula Smaragdina (HUN) as guest bands!
A SPECIAL HI TO all our new friends from Germany and Japan for their support, for the wonderful reviews of our first album, for the e-mails and for their friendship! :) We love You all! See You soon on a Yesterdays gig very soon....

Our very first OBI! :)!
Dear Friends! Now we can say that dreams DO come true! :) First, our Holdfénykert album was released, then Musea offered us a contract and the album was re-released and now, thanks to DiskUnion, Holdfénykert is out in Japan with a beautiful Obi with a dear friend's liner notes :) A very BIG thanks to Tetsuo Uchida for his friendship and big efforts for introducing Yesterdays to the Japanese progrock community... this whole thing is a dream-come-true and made us so proud and happy... what a Christmas GIFT! Thanks!!!!!

Dante's Divine Comedy, Part I. - INFERNO (is out now!!!)
Dear Friends! Wonderful news before Christmas: INFERNO is out now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)(to order it please click on the exclamation marks) :) We have waited one whole year for this!
It was last year's September, I think, when we were working on our Spaghetti Epic called Suite Pauline, when I had the first idea of this song. To be honest, it was written in half an hour, and hasn't been modified after that :) I've sent the first demo to Dave Speight and he immediately wrote the drums for the track (in English :))! Timi came and helped me to complete the lyrics for the song and she did - in my opinion - the best vocal work in Yesterdays' history, I am very proud of her! Than I had this idea to invite my favorite bass player, Jonas Reingold (of The Flower Kings) to do the bass lines, and he accepted our invitation... the result is breathtaking, with so much soul and feeling... and humor (at the end of the song!) Jonas, millions of thanks!!! To complete the song, Zsolt did a fantastic moog solo and gave a serious depth to this track, truly amazing! Finally, we asked Mesi to record some flutes for the intro and the outro and the track was ready. After several mixing sessions, in February, the song reached its final state and was sent to our good friend, Marco Bernard of the Colossus Magazine.
If You are fast enough, this wonderful 4CD box (with a booklet of 80 pages) can be Yours 'till Christmas! :)

In Japan...
Dear Friends, some years ago we were only dreaming about releasing our music, we were dreaming about a Musea contract and an "Obi" on a Japanese edition of our CD... now, we have it all, it is a dream-come-true!
Our dear friend Tetsuo Uchida wrote an article about Female Symphonic Prog and he included us too, so we are there between other fantastic bands, like Magenta, Karnataka, The Reasoning and Lot Lorien. Also he wrote the linear notes for our first japanese "Obi". Tetsuo, thanks so much for Your efforts and kindness! :)

Things we said and done...
We have a very intensive period behind us, the last few weeks were all about the continuity of the band. We had some serious meetings in order to clearify the future of Yesterdays.
Mesi (flute) and Daci (percussion) were away for so long from the life of the band, that we really had to say goodbye to them, even if this was extremely hard for us! It just had to be done, because we are about to begin the recording of our new album and before starting the serious work, we had to know who we can count on.
We wish all the BEST luck to Mesi and Daci!
The work goes on with some excellent new musicians and special guests (from Hungary: a guitar-genius and a fantastic flute player, from Germany: a guitarist/violonist progrock star :)!).
In the next 2 weeks we'll tell You who became the new lead singer of Yesterdays. We'll have to decide between two fantastic ones this time :)
29th October 2008
Yesterdays II.
Dear Friends, the band has just started the preparations to record the next album. We had to think over some stuff about our aims, concepts and plans. Soon we'll write more here and of course we'll send out a fresh newsletter about all the changes and plans regarding Yesterdays. We'll soon be telling you who became the new lead singer of the band... Some very important guests will be playing with Yesterdays on the next album... Stat tuned to find out more about this (very soon!) :)
A lot happened since the last news entry. Ákos just finished the studio works of the first Tabula Smaragdina album (soon we'll write moreabout this new progrock band). Yesterdays just started to work on it's Purgatorio track, and INFERNO will be released in November...
We wish You ALL a colourful Autumn! A very special HI to all our Japanese friends (thanks for the e-mails guys!!!)
Stay tuned: INFERNO will be released in NOVEMBER! :) Check out this wonderful compilation and you'll hear what happens when Yesterdays plays with Jonas Reingold (of the Flower Kings!) :)
Dear friends! We just started to work on our second album. The material is almost ready we did many demo recordings and everything looks very promising to us. The next album will be more powerful, more electric but with the same "yesterdays"-ish taste :). We'll have some fantastic guest musicians playing with us, from the U.K., Germany and Hungary... but let this be our secret!
A special HI to all our Swedish and Japanese fans and friends who made Japan and Sweden the first two most active visitor country in our website statistics! :)

VIII. Transylvanian Guitar Camp
Another gig, another interesting experience for the band... in the guitar camp we played as a quartet, without Zsolt (who was on a holiday with his family) and without Timea, who decided to try her singing skills in other musical styles (it turned out that progrock is not her cup of tea...). So, Mesi, Zoltán, János and I had to play a whole Yesterdays gig as a quartet... it was interesting, I had to use more guitar synths than ever and I even played more keyboard parts, Mesi played some vocal parts on her flute and of course the lead vocals were sung by me too...
During that week of the Guitar Camp I had 25 students and we really had a good time. We played classical, blues, rock, prog and lots of Hendrix tunes :). Thanks to the main organiser Szép-Tóth György and me, we woke up every morning to some prog music :)) like Gentle Giant, Spock's Beard, Jonas Reingold's Karmakanik and Flower Kings :D What a feeling... The camp-radio was so damn loud, YEAH!!! Some kind of musical education too :)
I can't tell you much about this week's things, because I had too much positive impressions and I could only tell some fairy tales. One thing is sure: next year I'll be there too and we'll play with Yesterdays too!
Ágó and Réka, thanks for the photos and the videos, with these memories the spirit will be kept alive!
On the last night of the Camp we organised a small rock festival with the students and their new bands, each playing one or two songs. It was FUN, we had punkrock, grunge, blues and of course progressive rock too. As the last act of the small festival I played a duet on ONE guitar with my favourite 12 year old student, Bence: Hendrix's Purple Haze... man, this was fun. Soon we'll show You some video footage of the gig! :)
I would like to thank all my fellow teachers and to all the kids for this fantastic week! I really hope that we'll meet next year on the 9th Transylvanian Guitar Camp!
Cheers,
Ákos

Tired and glad...
1 hour packing, 9 hours driving, 1 hour de-packing, 20 minutes (!!!) soundcheck, 40 minutes on stage, 1 hour packing , 2 hours with our new and good old friends in Bucharest, 9 hours on the road again, 1 hour de-packing, 2 hours thinking about these words for the site :) = 27 sleepless hours (until this very moment :)

Situations (Part I.)
Things just fastened up in/with/around us. Although we haven't made any Summer plans with Yesterdays we ended up in a situation with 3 or 4 serious gig dates :). We are preparing now for the gigs (the Guitar Camp, the Bucharest gig and the one on Stufstock Festival - if we will succeed in Bucharest). So, we had an interesting situation, when we found out that Domi will be busy with KUMM in Budapest while we probably will have to play with Yesterdays on StufStock Festival... Someone said: LET'S CLONE DOMI!!! Hmmm... we haven't got much time for that... so, we had to find someone for just this gig... Our special friend, Murányi János was the one who volounteered for this hard job. He's very talented, he has his own Radio show in 95.1 FM Paprika Radio Cluj. We are very proud to have him on board on Starship Yesterdays. Such a good friend! :)
Due to some intergalactical summer-time-and-space problems, we'll have to play without Zsolt on the 9th of August, the VIII. Transylvanian Guitar Camp Show... it will be a very strange show but we decided to do this anyway! Intergalactic-strange-space-situations... here we come solving you all!
So, on the picture above is the future/actual (sorry, what time is it now?) line-up of the band that will play on the GuitarCamp show:
Stucz Tímea, Murányi János, Kolumbán Zoltán, Bogáti-Bokor Ákos and Kozma Kis Emese

Yesterdays on the Romanian charts!
We were surprised today when we found out that our song "So Divine" is present on a Romanian Top Chart in Bucharest for 3 weeks. On City FM's ROMTOP the song climbed from position 29 to 23 :)! Life is good!

Second album rehearsals
After last week's fine Yesterdays workshop we realized that we have now enough material for the next album, more then 50 minutes in demos... so, from now on we'll work on the new songs (finalizing them).
We are planning to do a big show on the 22nd October in Cluj Napoca just to try these songs live and we'll start the recordings in November!
Btw... we are very excited about the new songs, this second album will be a more powerful symphonic prog album then the Moonlit Garden album (more analog synths, more electric guitars, etc...)
Stay tuned!

Full Moon rising today... The 2nd edition of our Moonlit Garden album is available at MUSEA!

Full moon rising today... So, it's a dream come true for us and just to make this thing even more special, we remastered the album and the CD is an enhanced one with videos, photos, special links and a 12 pages CD booklet... Macaroni on the way...
Finally, all the 3 epics are well done for the upcoming Musea/Colossus record, The Spaghetti Epic III.! The cover art is done too, it's fantastic, so nothing can stop this fantastic CD! :) Now that I had the opportunity to hear all the 3 epics, I'm so proud of all of us, for the opportunity to play together, to be part of this amazing project along with N.O.T. and Little Tragedies, two fantastic bands... it's a honour and a pleasure too! It was fun and we all are looking forward to have the CD in our hands... seeing/hearing is believing... We do hope that You'll like this amazing compilation! Get ready to "eat" it! :) The Spaghetti will be served soon... by the fantastic Musea Records!

Newsletter-Stars :)
November 2006, Holland, ProgFarm. A wonderful experience, awesome gig and fantastic new and old friends. Just a year after, Yesterdays is featuring the same well known German progmagazine as Spock's Beard do. The collaborator of this progjournal, which is regularly issued since more then a decade, our dear friend, Jürgen Meurer interviewed us. The German article came out in September of 2007, and now we've got it happily in our hands.
Thank You, Edo, Horst, Jürgen & Kristian!

Colossus!
Some months ago our friend, Marco Bernard (of the Colossus Magazine) kindly invited me to participate on their brand new Colossus project CD called "Tuonen Tytär 2" (a tribute to finnish prog), to sing some vocals on a very modern version of Wigwam's "Colossus". Meanwhile he also asked Zsolt to do a MiniMoog solo in this song.
So, the international and virtual work started (sending and sharing of the WAV files), and things begun to grow very fast. The finnish spirit of this strange and interesting song was "spiced up" a bit with some "italian blood" :
Marco Bernard - Rickenbacker bass Giorgio "Arecnames" Mastrosanti - guitars Davide Guidoni - drums Roberto "Bobo" Aiolfi - bass guitar Alfio Costa - mellotrons
... with some addition of "transylvanian blood" ha-ha:
Enyedi Zsolt - piano and MiniMoog Bogáti-Bokor Ákos - lead and backing vocals, mellotrons
Yesterday I was in the studio, recording my vocals and some additional mellotrons. Davide said that my vocals reminded him of Francis Bonnermann of Eloy...
At this point we only miss Giorgio's final guitars and Zsolt's crazy moog solo, after these, Bazsó Tibor (our sound-engineer) and I will start the mixing at Alias Studio in Cluj Napoca (RO).
What I've heard so far from this Tuonen Tytär 2 CD is excellent and you'll find two Yesterdays appeareances on it... so.... just check out this space for new information!
Marco, Zsolt, Giorgio, Davide, Bobo and Alfio, thanks for this wonderful prog-experience!!!
Cheers,
Ákos

Let it shine!
Wow, we were in the studio today to complete a wonderful surprise track... 2'36'' pure yesterdaysness ... a tribute to our finnish-italian friends... We were so happy today with the results, with the work, that we forgot to take pictures about the recording and mixing session....
To increase Your curiosity here it is, the line-up of the "songmakers":
Bogáti-Bokor Ákos - lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, backing vocal extravaganza Enyedi Zsolt - Yamaha CP-70 electric piano, Mellotron, backing vocals Stucz Timea - "shining", backing vocals Kósa Dávid - chimes
Recorded by: Bazsó Tibor and Puiu Barnutiu
Mixing: Bazsó Tibor and Bogáti-Bokor Ákos

"Yesterdays of Tomorrows" :) had a full-day rehearsal. Shaping, changing, or just picking out songs to play is a hard work, for every new beginning. The band with our on-off drummer and new bass player, Kolumbán Zoltán, had a serious sound.
Yesterdays: Suite Pauline (The Spaghetti Epic III, second movement)
Zoltán is the bass-player of the band Balance from Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu-Secuiesc / Romania) and my band mate in DeLaFunk. We also share a bit of Yesterdays history. Last autumn, when the task of laying down the bass-lines for the 20 minutes-long Suite Pauline fell upon me, I asked him if he would borrow his instrument for the writing process. Then he tactfully offered his services for the recording also, if I considered it necessary. In just one evening we demoed our ideas, and the next day we were able to record all the bass-parts for Suite Pauline. Handling a task at this level, and of similar magnitude, only Domi was able to perform. There were no other names considered when the spot of the bass-player became vacant.
So, the band is complete now, and I have to tell you, that after our first rehearsal with the new line-up, we are excited and content.
There is however the certainty of the delay to the release of the new album, due to Timi's full autumn absence. This is not an issue, nor a problem, because this way the new material will be given the chance to mature, and we are quite sure, it is for the better.
No need to be disheartened, because this year we will have 4 Musea releases: the reissue of Moonlit Garden In March, the Spaghetti Epic III in April, Inferno in May, and a Finnish prog-rock tribute-album sometime during summer/autumn, with 2 Yesterdays contributions. As for next year, the new album, and possibly an official Live-DVD, so stay tuned...

Yesterdays' Christmas Message!
To All Our Dear Friends,
Somewhere it is written: "Smile, and the World smiles with You"
We are closing a rich year. Rich in experiences, joy, troubles and changes. A true MUSICAL richness. Thinking back to our fulfilled desires and those that are still waiting for us, those unexpected events and those sounds that came alive, we can look forward with a peaceful smile on our face and strong faith in our hearts.
We all are fighters of the Light - let us take care of it, let us protect and cherish it, let us spread it around. This is the one and only thing, which we can give away, however will grow in our heart, but whilst keeping it hidden, will fade out.
So, have my send-off here: just four words showing Yesterdays' essence, showing past and future, showing all of us.
Divine Play Light Shade
Wishing all of You the Light of Christmas, a year full of happiness and joyfully smiling moments!
Zsolt"

Hi there friends! After a long silence we'll reveal all the pretious secrets :)!
First of all let us introduce our new lead singer to You, her name is Stucz Timea! Our friendship begun two or three years ago on a festival where she performed her own songs with one guitar. She was fantastic and we shared the same changing room and some phone numbers :). So, in spring of 2007 I phoned her to ask her about joining my solo album project as a lead singer, but after she got back from England, Kinga just left the band and we were looking for a new lead singer... so we decided to ask her and she said YES... and here we are, she just sung the lead vocal parts for our Inferno song "Isteni színjáték" (Divine Comedy) for the upcoming Musea/Colossus release!
So the recordings of the vocal parts had begun, but Timi showed her lyricist side to us too, being a co-writer of the lyrics, we have changed some ideas two times a day in e-mails... but now the song is ready and today we completed all the vocals recordings!
Facing new experiences in the studio wasn't the only challenge for Timi, because last Friday we went directly to a local radio station (Paprika Radio 95.1 FM Cluj) to a apprear in a live show with Mesi. We had to perform two songs and yet this was Timi's first appeareance as the band's brand new lead singer. We all were a bit nervous about that, but soon we got over it and the performance proved that our decisions were right: Timi is the perfect choice for the band! We would like to thank János Murányi's kind invitation to the Radio! :)
But let's retur to this INFERNO track... until today we kept our guest musician's identity a secret... well, it's no more a secret that Jonas Reingold (bass player of The Flower Kings) accepted our invitation to join this project and recorded some fantastic and progressive bass lines for us... We can't find the right words for him to thank this fantastic collaboration, it really is a big honour and a DREAM-COME-TRUE!!!Jonas, thank you again and we hope that we'll have the chance to play this song with You live somewhere in the future :)!!!
So, here it is, the final line-up of our Inferno project group:
L-R: David Speight (drums), Kozma Kis Emese (flute), Stucz Timea (lead vocals, lyrics), Bogáti-Bokor Ákos (guitar, Mellotron, Moog, vocals, lyrics), Jonas Reingold (bass guitar), Enyedi Zsolt (KORG MS)
We would like to thank you all for your patience and support and for all the e-mails! We will keep up the progressive work :)
